Hi im doing the big three and after researching the layout of the engine bay and the current setup with my wiring loom the main problem i have is the pos port. (refer to pic below) its one of those quick release ones. This has been on since i got the car. The problem i have is that all new connections are ring terminals going onto a threaded battery port making an easy connect and disconnect method allowing me to ad and remove connections direct from the pos. The problem i have too is how to remove the wires off this quick release port and rewire it onto a ring terminal. Doing this tomorrow all my big three wires are ready its only this thats stopping me. here are some pics that hopefully will give you enough to work on:

(new terminal for both pos and neg and everything powed up on ring terminals onto it)
My idea was to wire a 8 gauge wire and solderer it to the existing connector and then with a ring terminal on the other onto the new terminal but this really didnt work
