vts turbo air inlet manifold question

    simple question , wondering how much psi it can take before it blows , whats the max your running on a std one, and what else will fit that can take more psi

    depends on how well they sealed from the factory. what sort of temperature it was when they cured them to start with.

    ive seen some inlets take over 1.5bar then others not even withstand n/a

    i wanna run about 14 psi but i will as every one dose want to crank it up before long but them dp ones are so damn deer , might just see how much it will take, would love to put 20 to 24 psi boost when its run in

    Look up ATSpeeds 106, that is about 400 odd bhp and running a standard inlet. not sure if he's done anything to it mind.

    Tam also ran a standard inlet on his AX and that was about 240bhp at the wheels iirc.

    Plenty others running standard inlets aswell. Just turn it up and see what it takes - you can get them for £25 so what does it matter if it pops! buy another, simples.

    thats what i'll be doing anyway, running 1/2 a bar no probs will be putting 1.5 bar through it.

    thanks e8_pqck guess your wright they are cheep and if it pops get another if that gose start looking for a different one ,
