If you've got vtr alloys the biggest you can go is 266mm

If you've got 15 inch or above wheels you can get 283mm but you'll need a new master cylinder

Braided lines are recommended for any upgrade

You may need to grind off a bit of the carrier but thats all

    Have a look through this

Is that the next stage up from standard vtr brakes?

The 266 setup is yeah, you'll notice a difference over standard brakes but without having to put bigger wheels on (long as you have 14's now), changing master cylinder is also an option

Yea still have the standard 14''s at the mo apart from the stopping power i love the look of brakes filling the space behind wheels

You don't 'need' to change the m/c with 283s

Personally I'd go for 266s as they weigh half the amount 283s do

266 is enough for most ppl, 283 is more then enough and brembos are well ott!! 283 does weight LOADS though!!

Im running 266 mm braked and there brilliant compared to standard as said slight modifacation to calliper carrier needed other than that straight fit
  12. #12
What kind of mod are we talking??
  13. #13
The top of the carrier needs a small amount of grinding to get it to line up with the bolts holes on the strut other than that its a straight fit mate
