HELP has the head gone

    can anyone help, i recently boughta citreon saxo desire 02 automatic.off a very 'genuine' man who is a driving insructor, he told me that the car was a good little runner and a nice car n theyd never had any problems, we got the car back and i drove round, but when the car was still i noticed water pouring out at the front under the radiator, when i took the water cap off there was pressure but no oil, but there is water in the oil. can any one help and does anyone no if im entitled to get my money bak, ive tried to fone this man but the fone is off, there is also a nock coming from under the car, not all the time

    If he says there's no problem with the car and the head gasket has gone, take it back to him and show him yourself. Unfortunately there's not much you can do with private sales, but if he's genuine then you can show him the oil in the water.

    I thought there was oil in my water but it turned out it was just around the cap (for some reason). Get a water can sprayer and take the head off, stick the straw in the water and spray it into the can. See how much oil there actually is.

    EDIT: Also if you know where the man lives, then just turn up and knock his door to explain the problem. Did you get and check his details before buying the car?
