#10Is the release bearing expensive?

#16Same problem here, it's the release bearing :/ I'm just going to wait until it REALLY needs changing. It isn't that annoying, and you can barely hear it. Pointless spending all that money when the current one could last for months and months.

#17Or it could completely fall apart knacker the clutch totally and possibly put a hole in the gearbox as a resultQuote:Same problem here, it's the release bearing :/ I'm just going to wait until it REALLY needs changing. #18A release bearing wont fall apart and ruin the whole clutch and put a hole in the gearbox. 1 in a 100,000 chance of that happening

#19I've seen a few fall apart and damage the clutch on citroens and peugeots, never seen one put a hole In the box but it is a possibility.
