Temp sitting at a quarter

Hi as title says my saxo has a strange problem where it doesnt get hot the temp sits at a quarter but if i hammer it then it goes up any ideas on it?

Hmmm bit worrying though as its alot colder than where it normally sits at half i know it needs a service doubt its that though

Some cars naturally run cooler then others, and of course warm up when you thrash it.

I'd say just keep an eye on it for now

good job the bikes dont have a temp guage... just a bunch of numbers that change...and quick

Sounds like the thermostat that is stuck open or at least partially open

Mines the same on idle it will warm up, but driving its very rare to get past 1/8 on temp..

Cheers all check out the thermostat I reckon it's that anyway but I'll give it a good overhaul
