Vented to solid discs

   I have a 1999 vtr and have brought so grooved solid discs and have just found out the disc on the car are vented can I still put the solid discs on?

   Nope, vented discs are wider and use a different calliper to solid discs.
   
   Also vented are much better at cooling than solid.

   All VTR's and VTS come with vented discs and have to use them.

   vented are so much better aswell, id take back the solid ones

   just use the solid ones on the back since you have them and get some new vented ones for the front

   Hi quick question I just got a new struts for my x reg vtr and the old discs are warped they are vented and have groves and the new ones are vented but don't have grooves will they still be ok?

   the groves are only there to help with clearing/cleaning the disc and pads.
   
   They'll be fine.
