gear linkages I think

   Hi guys and girls!
   
   Since I've had my vtr I've felt that the gear selection is a bit off.
   Gearstick feeling loose and can be quite hard to get into gear (nothing to do with clutch though as it never grinds or slips)
   
   Had a look around on the forum and most things point to linkages, but anything else that I could do (without spending a fortune) to tighten it up a little?

   It does sound like the linkages. Surely it wouldn't cost a fortune to get that looked at?

   Get some new linkages, there not exactly expensive and it beats them popping off at 3 in the morning with a car full of drunk mates =]

   could be linkages or the roll pin in the selector, i have one on order from citroen

   Do the roll pin first there 80p from citroen most of the time there the problem.
