2000 vtr, conversion questions

   I have a 2000 vtr, been reading threads saying the change over year makes alot of complications, im looking into more 1.8 xsara vts turboed or maybe old pug 2.0 turbo, any advice on big swaps on these years?

   yeah, those engines will complicate your build far beyond the wiring you wish to run

   I know an auto electrician who is shit hot, id basicly strip down and get the mechanical side sorted, pay someone to have a headache

   so why mention wiring?
   
   engine will go in bay, total new mounts...you now a welder yeah?
   
   edit- wiring is your last worry, ALL electronics can be wired, standalone wasnt created for nothing, space, is an issue, you can do what you want, IF you have the money

   Xsara was a 2.0 16v - same as 306 Gti-6
   
   Bigger engines, tight fit, new mounts required!
   
   Easier to fit an S engine!
