Brake lights

Basically for a while my sidelights would come on as i brake and my 3rd brake light would be on constantly. This stopped by itself..but now only my 3rd brake light works and the main 2 don't..which is dangerous since i mainly only drive at night...plus its pretty fuckiong dangerous anyway.

Ive checked the fuses under the dash and the bulbs and they're all fine..i thought it might be the brake light switch..but since the 3rd lighjt still comes on i don't think it would be that?

If it was the brake light switch then the high level 1 wouldn`t work, check & clean the circuit boards that hold the bulbs.

had this before. changed the circuit boards in the lights and worked perfect again. was moisture in the light from no getting a seal made the boards abit rusty if you know what i mean

What kind of question is that?

Karl, its going to be short circuiting somewhere, most probably your rear lights full of water, or has some sort of damage to the wires caused by water, or even dried water leaving rust on the connectors, if you still have this problem, pop over to me and I can sort it in no time.

swap your rear lights and see how it lights up, if the same bulb does not work then it's your bulb holder having a bad contact. Check for water too
