   hi, as it says in the title, how the hell can i adjust it???
   every time a bus drives past the bloody thing goes off! getting a wee bit annoying now esp at 0300 am

   What alarm is it? If its aftermarket they usually have a sensitivity adjuster on the alarm box, tend to be in the passenger footwell area

   The internal sensors are utter wank on the saxos.
   
   Can disable them by holding the button on the centre console before locking the car. Or can cut them out completely.
   
   I have read of people using aftermarket sensors but never seen it.

   by the button on the centre console do you mean the one that has the alarm pic on it?

   Yeh, it's the one next to the hazard switch. It cuts out the ultrasonic sensors, It's there for disabling them incase you leave a dog or something in the car so the alarm doesnt go off from detecting movement.
