Engine Dying

   Have a problem with my engine dying when im slowing down and or changing down into 2nd gear? My cars done this a few times now and im baffled as to what is causing it? Also occasionaly my car idles at 2000 rev's and yesterday it idled at 3000?! when as far as im aware it should idle at 1000? Any feedback as to what is causing these problems would be greatly appreciated!

   Sounds like idle control valve. Its not idling so when the revs drop the drop right down and stall the engine.

   yep i'd say idle control vave too. Get the throttle body cleaned as well
