Boot

    Hey guys,
Just attempting to fit my new boot, come up with a problem.

I disconnected my old one, via unplugging the cables, then pulling them through the side, now I can work out how to put the cables from the new boot is, as they won't fit in the hole at the top, I tried it with the earth, but i cant find it :/

Any help/ advice will be appreicated

    Regards

    I changed my boot lid.
To do so, i took off the rear slam panel, and disconnected the earth, and two plugs one brown, one blue, i them pulled from the top, and got them out.

I then put the new boot lid on, feed the wires down and cant find them

easiest way is to feed some wire through the holes then wrapp it around the cables then pull gently hope this helps if any problems pm me ya mobile

Good but for future reference when I did mine I tied some cord to the cables then used an old magnetic pick up tool.I sawed the end off then attached the cord to that & was able to pull the wires through, the wire that caused me grief was the 3rd brake light wire.

It was like sticking my hand up a cows arse.

My fingers look like they've lost a fight with a sander.

you shouldn't have a rear locked belt. theres a little ball bearing in the belt which controls a catch. chances are its just moved and locked the catch.

take it off and give it a wiggle and the ball should fall back into place properly
