Starting Problem

    Hi,

    The past few days ive had problems starting my car in the mornings when its been cold, but starts without any problems when its warm.

    The other day when i started the engine it tried turning over but wouldnt start, tried again turned over for less then a second and then once more and was less than that. The car's clock and radio had reset, so i thought it was the battery had just died . I then decided to try it again 5 minutes later and started first time?

    And today it started first time, but took a little bit of time but when it did i heard a bang, any idea what that could of been?

    Are you getting a noise when you go to turn it over? like a ticking noise?

    Yeah like its trying to start but just doesn't make it to that point where it actually starts (If you can understand that lol). Well I havent heard a clicking noise when trying to start it.

    Like I said I found it strange the other day, how it would not turn over, but after leaving it for 5 mins it work straight away :/. I'm going to get the battery tested today, but any other information or help would be great.
