Front to Back Exhaust Recommendation

My exhaust has been catch my sump and ripped a hole in my sump. This is because at some point the cat has been replaced with a cheaper part and nothing lines up! I fixed the hole and moved the exhaust out of the way but i want it to be right! It still rattles at different points even with new rubbers

now i was going to buy a new standard exhasut front to back and refit but i thought instead ill just get an after market exhaust to give me a bit more grunt.

I have a 2000 X VTR and would like to know what you guys think is a good set up including manifold (dont really want to move oil filter) then im unsure about centre section. as my cat is in the manifold im guessing i dont have one in the centre section so is just a silencer?

    Cheers guys

Raceland 4-1 and a supersprint race exhaust system will see you making good gains. Around 12-15bhp.
If we run out of Racelands before you buy then the Piper 4-1 manifold is a more expensive but better quality manifold

Possibly with a center box if you plan on removing the cat. I personally cant tolerate a loud exhaust day in day out. I have a very similar setup on my vts. It makes a very nice aggressive noise, but doesn't drone on the motorway.

well ive bought a raceland manifold now and i have a janspeed back box.....will just leave themiddle section in as it has a silencer and hopefully ill have a goodamount of noise without toomuch ofa drone.
