VTS limited to 6500rpm

   Still having issues with the car, it seems to be running fine other than being limited to about 6500 rpm. Around there it just starts bouncing of the limiter when it should have a bit left init.
   
   Obviously I rarely take it this high normally but it's annoying as being able to take it just past 7k always brought a smile to my face.
   
   Someone had hinted at a crank sensor but just changed that and still driving the same.
   
   Is a 2002 plate vts, any ideas would be much appreciated as I'm clueless

   Is it the original ECU, or has it been changed at some point?

   running an unlocked vts ecu as I shorted out the car and wiped my original. have since had the original sorted but they both do the same
