Important! : Dashboard & Sidelights Have Gone! HELP!

    Hi everyone

    I have had nothing but trouble with my VTR since I bought it in June. Lovely paintwork, wheels, condition, no rust or scratches and only £900 with 69k miles. BUT, I've had cat failure, back box replaced, battery died, coil pack died...everything that could has gone wrong really at present. Looks nice though! haha.

    This week, its the dashboard & side lights. I was driving home and all of a sudden the dashboard lights went off, as did the sidelights. BUT, they come back on when you press the brake pedal! WTF! lol. Maybe a bad earth somewhere or just some electrical problem? Sometimes they come on with the brake pedal, sometimes they won't come on at all. Fuse or bad earth? Any ideas guys? HELP! lol.

    Hope someone can throw some light on this!

    my partners dials have a complete mind of their own atm aswell, hes checked the fuses and a few other things but he still doesnt know the problem sorry i cant be of much help

    change the fuse anyway, even if it looks ok. check all your earth points.
    this is what i had to do when mine went.

    just play around/wiggle the wires starting from the rear lights working your way through to the front.
