106 gti alternator

   where is the cheapest place to pick up a alternator and will other alternators fit, if so wha ones

   Whats wrong with yours? Get it repaired.
   
   Other GTI and VTS ones will fit may need to swap brackets. Minor models give out a different AMP.

   its not mine my friend baught a gti and the wires dont even connect to the alternator

   mk1 and 2 have different connections.

   i used the one off my old 1.1 engine with no problems

   i dont kno weather its plug or rings its covered in dirt and we havent had time to remove it yet
