Stiff gears after gearbox oil change

   Had gearbox oil changed yesterday, since then its quite hard at times to get into gear, why is this?

   Correct oil?

   I use that oil with no problems. Have you used the right amount? also the cold weather wont help

   the garage did it when they changed my drive shafts. might go for a longer drive and see if it improves when warmer. only been 3 miles down road to garage.

   It should be alright after 3 miles to be fair, they havent been messing with the linkages or clutch cable I'd hope? that could cause your issue

   hmmm i'd doubt it, its a reputable garage, family has always used them with no problems.

   It could be numerous things really,
   
   Low gearbox oil or the wrong type (as you say you *think* they used 75w80)
   clutch cable might not be adjusted properly
   linkages fouling or exhaust or body
   
   All those above are theoretical, are the driveshafts properly seated in the diff too?
