    Hi all

For anyone having a 1997 saxo or earlier you may have noticed that they don`t use a 16 pin diagnostics socket.Mine uses a 10 pin socket located on the passenger side(inside under the dashboard)look up under the right hand side & you`ll see a 10 pin female socket(brown)In order to read & clear the faults with a Lexia-3 scanner etc you need an adaptor cable like this.

Just a heads up really for anyone stuck.

Type in Lexia-3 scanner into ebay search box then when you find the saxo 1`s look at the description.IE what year they cover from, then find your diagnostics port under the dash or under the fuse box(passenger side)& verify how many pins it has if it has 16 pins then most scanners will work.If it has 10 pins then you need the adaptor socket I put in the link mate.
