106 gti clutch

   Seem to get a jerk when I change from 1st to 2nd gear when I let the clutch out.
   Could this be the clutch slipping or is it something else?

   if its a harsh jerk then it could be the engine mounting wearing, more noticeable under hard acceleration, any knocks when letting the clutch out?
