Important! : Spluttering...

   This a hard one to explain but i'll try and give it a go.
   
   When i rev up in neutral and i give it a quick blip of the accelerator it's got a splutter for the 1st half a second or so, When the revs build up it goes away.
   
   Doesn't do it when im driving (Not that i've noticed anyway as i tend not to nail it).
   
   Anybody any ideas?, It's not a big problem but it irritates me when something is not right.

   might be the start of the fuel filter clogging up perhaps as its only happening at low revs when not under strain, cheap enough to get a new one and rule the problem out, bout a tenner

   ahh i have same problem but mine is a nightmare to start but sometimes it starts okay
