Paint!!!!!!!!!!

    my girlfriends wheels have been purple for a year now but shes looking for a purple like the link below. needs to be an aerosol can as i dont have a spray gun. the wheels at the moment are the only purple halfords or motorspares do but its just not bright enough.

    but i cant afford it.. anyone know of places where they do cheaper paint this colour?? or would someone be really really really kind and let me borrow their spray gun and compressor.. or does anyone know of any places local that are ridiculously cheap to rent??

    Thats going to be a custom colour mate. The closest I can find on my chips are;

    THISTLE PURPLE FORD EUROPE
    CODE: E9


    DAMSON PURPLE ISUZU
    CODE: 848




    Other than that mate I don't think you will find one that bright in aerosol. You can make the colour pop more by using a white base coat or more warm by using a yellow base coat.

    get a powder coat kit you can get a powder that colour.. powder aint pricey either and ive seen electric powder guns on ebay for about 25 quid

    i dont know how good they are, but halfords will mix paint for you, if you took that in maybe they could do something? i think bedfords got it right though, play around with basecoats until you get the perfect shade

    Thanks guys will look into powder kits.. and ill go to halfords see what they can do
