headlight inserts and hid's

   hi guys,
   i will be spraying my inserts of my headlights, if i was to fit an 8k hid kit would the bulb melt the paint or cause it to flake?

   Nope mate, use high temp paint if you want to be 1000% safe

   should be alright, the heat doesnt really get to the painted parts too much just reflects off the shiney bits and towards the glass

   i used cheap poundland paint to do my inserts and theyre still fine with my 8000k hid kit. shouldnt be a problem mate, no need to buy high temp paint lol
