smoking m3 style rear lights

    hi i was wondering how hard tinting the red bits of the m3 style rear lights of a saxo is

    just mask off the red bits and the rest of the light leaving the clear section exposed, few coats of tint spray and then lacquer them

    just re-read your post, think i got confused and thought you wanted to do full red lights, but if you just want to tint/smoke the red sections that do as above but mask the lights to leave red section exposed

    alrite cheers...whats best stuff to get it off with incase i mess up?

    it doesn't come off to great so best just taking your time with it or getting someone to do them for you who has done them before

    as said above, mask off the clear area, make sure its perfectly straight, took me 3 attempts then just do LIGHT coats untill the bits which wer clear are the same shade as the bit which wer red, dont just spray the clear square bits, spray over the red which is already there aswell

    also get some clear indicator bulbs (foilatec etc) as u can see in the 2nd pic, the orange bulb look isnt very nice lol

    Remember though, lots off thin light coats are better than a couple of thick coats, just take your time mate and you will be fine

    i just bought some red tint spray from halfrauds
