leaking boot

   no holes, no were that i can see any way, tried re-mounting break light, still leaks, rubber seal can come of the were the weld is all around left hand side,
   
   is this the problem

   Most probably as you said the seal mate.

   is your car de wipered? possibly that to or even if it isnt seal could be gone around the glass where the motor come out?
