How low would you say this is?

Okay I brought the car back in February and it had already been lowered, however I never knew how much since I brought the car off someone who took it in part ex, mainly just curious as to how low it is? Had that many different numbers off friends, it's lowered on springs not coilovers. Cheers.

Looks 60mm, mine has pretty much the exact same arch gap as that on the front and that's on 60mm springs, same with my mate's Furio aswell.

Ah right then do you get any grinding on the inner wheel arches when on full lock?

Quick query, see you have your vtr alloys done black, how much did that set you back? been tempted to have mine done

Yeah the tyres start squeaking on the arch liners but nothing too serious, they haven't been ripped off yet haha!

My VTR wheels were in shit condition when I got the car, so for them to be refurbished and resprayed gloss black it cost me £130, but the bloke who does the wheels was a mate of a mate, so it was mate's mate's rates

It's so easy to re-spray alloys. Did mine myself, just rough them up with like 600 and 1000 grade sand paper, prime them, spray them. Jobs a good'n.

Depends how curbed they are though?

buy a deck of cards, then take the wheel off and after cleaning them and giving them a quick key with 600-1000grit paper/wet and dry put the cards round the tire, primer then spray black.
i can do a set of 4 in about 2 hours and they will look great. 45 minutes if you rush but dont expect them to look great.

as for the silver saxo, i would say about 50-60mm looks good, nothing to silly

I just bought some from Shaneio, waiting onn them arriving. I was thinking along the same lines, wether to wait til after winter. If i don't, i could be used as a snow plough if it's anything like last year haha

Last winter with all the snow I was driving a standard height vtr and it was still used as a snow plough. Dreading to think what it will be like if the snows the same again, atleast this year I have legal tyres
