Important! : Indicator stalk replacement

  1. #1
Hi guys, Im currently in the process of taking my old indicator stalk out and putting the new one in, I disconnected the battery 10 mins ago, so I'm assuming I need to leave everything alone for another 20 mins before i can begin?

And just to make sure, the airbag wont go off in my face after this 30 mins will it? lol

    Thanks
    Ben

You can do it without taking the wheel off but it's a bit harder.

I've taken airbags off with the battery connected before. Will be fine.

won't need to take wheel off anyway.
    remove the 2 cowlings.
there is 3 13mm nunts bolthing the collumn on. undo them
allow the wheel to drop slightly
    undo stalk.
pull on wheel and wiggle the stalk out
    simple as that.
