Rust :(

   Well today I was removing all the boot plastic... Found a rust hole behind the plastic behind the black plastic where the boot seals are, anyway enough me trying to explain heres some pics...

   i had rust there and it was bigger hole on my old saxo! went right up behind the seatbelt nothing some mesh and filler couldnt fix.

   and is that just as strong? how could it have got rusted there?

   would be better to weld it if im honest mate if you have one or can get it done cheap... but i didnt have the money at the time.

   I'm going to look and see how much to get it welded, my father in law does welding so possibly he could do it.

   just done that, probz shouldn't have bought the car in the dark. With the amount of the problems its been given me I dont know what to do with it anymore

   mine was like this got friend to weld it for me for £20 was a lot worst on mine all seatbelt mounting was rotten.gave it a good wax oil afterwards on the outside and stoneguard on inside.

    I'm hoping my father in law will be able to do it. I just dont want the car being a money bucket cause the front hub needs fixed to and its still to go for MOT so I'm thinking of breaking it as everything else is in good nick.

    I`ve got my rear 1`s removed but having said I always keep the arches clean & ever year the complete arches are undersealed.
