Important! : Engine starting itself up

The missus has a 1.1 Desire. X reg.

She drove it to work the other day, parked up, switched the engine off, got out locked up and started to walk away.

Heard a car start behind her, turned round and it was her car - the engine had started itself up, so she got back in turned it off kept an eye on it for a few minutes then went in to work.

    The same thing happened today.

    Any ideas?

Have you/your mrs got a aftermarket alarm that could have a remote start on the fob?

The garage never mentioned anything about it - but she did mention that it has an alarm fitted. So I'll check it out when she gets home.

    Cheers.
