ABS problem

    98 106 GTi.

Had the car in at the pug garage, diagnostic showed o/s front and both rear abs sensors being faulty. Changed said sensors for new ones, and checked the remaining sensors impedance, shows up as in the right range . Have checked the connections and they are clean and snug. Checked the fuses and they seem fine, yet the ABS light is staying lit.

Do you need to go through a fault reset routine?

    Anyone any ideas?

    Thanks

have you driven the car since changing the sensors? some cars need to be driven for a short distance before it will reset.

That would be my first thought, but I'm Gab would have done this already - I would first check the sensor impedance again, to make sure absolutely nothing has failed. To be absolutely sure dude, you're going to have to take the car to Pug and do an ABS ECU check, but if the the sensors are playing nicely it's probably the ECU that's knackered. I've got a spare at sayertowers if you need.
