handling issue

    Ive a Saxo Vtr 2001 Y now.................................

Its a long story but in short bought the car knowing it had been in a bump this was offered up by the previous owner........... BUT not a CAT C right off. going by the work done to the front end new wings bumper and bonnet........................

The car in right handers is fine no problems at all, but left handers, its disconcerting, the best way i can describe this feeling is if you're power steering aint working in a corner and it suddenly comes on...... if the wheel on the road is like this | in the corner it feels like its going under the car / as the load comes onto that side

Set up - the car is on coilovers, new drop links (year old) new top struts (1year old the other 8weeks i broke a bolt lol) used, in good condition lower arms, used, in near perfect condition drivers side drivshaft.

    Thoughts and thanks in advance

You checked the power steering pump fluid and/or maybe the pump is on its way out?

Check your rear beam, tyrre pressures, unmatched tyres sometimes do this too.

Having the power steering pump not working but with all the fluid and the high and low pressure pipes still connected give this feeling too. So theres no point trying anything untill you have fixed tht.

Beam is fine, two front tyres are new and pressure checked weekly constant 30Psi.

    check basics first

tracking - tyre wear (uneven wear) - pressures etc.

get car on a ramp / or high on a jack. check for play in ball joints and lower arm mountings.
check for play in the rack too.

    - colin.

Check your hub nuts are TIGHT too, if they arent done up to the right torque can cause an awful amount of play in the wheel which might translate to this
