No matter how hard i pull the gear knob it just wont come off! It's the yellow one which comes on east coasts.. I've tried everything, even wedged a knife underneath and tried to prise it off... Any ideas?
Cheers

go on the back seat, put in 4th gear, twist 90 degrees clockwise and pull. Don't knock yourself out in the process.

If it wont come off just cut it off with a hacksaw and get a better looking one.
Maybe use a heat gun to soften the pastic underneath, its possible it will work.

lol, not a heat gun. A hair dryer will do, otherwise you'll burn the fucker and breathe plastic fumes. Not recommended

@Manu - Yeah mate, might try the hairdryer then! Anythings possible i suppose! It's just annoying looking at this bright yellow gear knob when my car is blue..

Yeah I know dude, poor choice of color from citroen. Anyway, nothing a little elbow grease can't solve. Maybe get a friend with bigger muscles, or cut it out as a last resort I suppose. Don't go hammer and chisel on it, way too dangerous as you could stab yourself in the eye or something.
