Really need help on this one
earlier when i was driving home a massive bang/clunk came from the front drivers side sounded like a bit of metal hit the underside
when i pulled into my drive on full lock the car made a massive screeching noise

then now when i turn the wheel on full lock it sounds like something is rubbing its only a little noise

but when i rev the engine and turn it on full lock something screeches really loudly

    i dont have a clue!!

    HELP!!

Okay now the screeching noise has now started when i start the car, and also when i turn the wheel on full lock and rev.

the sound when i start goes away when i do over 2000 revs :|

I get this when I start it up from cold think its the alternator belt/pulley. Need to have a look at it.

Might go have a spy now and report back

Just checked. alternator crank pulley is moving when revving and catching on the bottom cam cover causing the noise.

the drive pulley attached to the end of the crankshaft.

mine split in 2 just as i set off to get the new one lol. plenty of smoke came out the side of the car, the burnt rubber smelt lovely haha.

    Maybe your battery is knackered!
if you have a local garage which you go to often for mot/services etc! you could probly go in and ask them to have a quick look they shouldnt charge you for it. thats what i do!
