#4Sand it down, few coats of primer, few coats of high temp resistant paint and your sorted, I think?
Do a search, I'm sure you'll find all the proper info out that way... -
#5yeh just take it off give it a good clean and sand down , primer and spray it, let it dry and put it back together and jobs a good un! did it to mine and it came out really well, ands easy to do!
-
#6You don't need to use heat resistant paint, posi blue, priomer and laquer spray cans from halfords will be just fine.Quote:Originally Posted by G_RideSand it down, few coats of primer, few coats of high temp resistant paint and your sorted, I think?

#10Nice work really sets it off well!!!

#11could i use brake caliper paint then???
-
#12brake caliper paint is high temp paint you can but unless you want to have a beacon under your bonnet during the night get normal paint
-
#13Caliper paint is high temp as calipers get very very very very hot!
your rocker cover gets mildly warm compared! so use normal spray! simply prime, spray colour and laquer. you can get these sprays at halfords for around £10. jobs a good one -
#14you done a good job there mate i like it!!
