yesterday after having a new bottom arm the mechanic said id bent my arb and when i asked how much it would cost for a new one he said " because the cars been lowered you could probably do away with it" is this safe for me not to have one ?
anti roll bar

#1
-
#2His a monkey fool replace it.
-
#3serious ? im picking the car up tommorow ive just had brake lines replaced and he has chucked the bar in the bin he was like the cars lowered so it wont have roll going around corners then he gave the cocky 1.1 quote everyone seems to say " itll never go fast enough to do anything serious anyway "
-
#4And your giving money to that cowboy...
-
#5What lbs springs/coilovers are you using ?
-
#6i dont no they were already fitted and there on std shocks aswell down about 40mm
-
#7and yeh im only paying him for parts though
-
#8if you have high spring rates its fine, but I imagine you won't tbh....
-
#9It's very unusual to bend an arb, and it's definitely not recommended to remove it, just because it's lowered That's not a reason to do away with it.
-
#10front anti roll bar? will make the car more prone to oversteer
-
#11There's a reason why citroen developed the car with this on for that reason i'd be keeping it on the car
-
#12Ebay will sort you out with a replacement anyway, its easy to fit one on a 1.1. Next time dont take your car to idiots though dude, that guy sounds like the biggest idiot - throwing away parts from your car?!
-
#13have i read that right, the idiot has removed and thrown away the ARB ?
-
#14lol go get it back from him! its probably not even bent anyway, theyre never straight lol
