   yesterday after having a new bottom arm the mechanic said id bent my arb and when i asked how much it would cost for a new one he said " because the cars been lowered you could probably do away with it" is this safe for me not to have one ?

   serious ? im picking the car up tommorow ive just had brake lines replaced and he has chucked the bar in the bin he was like the cars lowered so it wont have roll going around corners then he gave the cocky 1.1 quote everyone seems to say " itll never go fast enough to do anything serious anyway "

   i dont no they were already fitted and there on std shocks aswell down about 40mm

   if you have high spring rates its fine, but I imagine you won't tbh....

   It's very unusual to bend an arb, and it's definitely not recommended to remove it, just because it's lowered That's not a reason to do away with it.

    There's a reason why citroen developed the car with this on for that reason i'd be keeping it on the car

    Ebay will sort you out with a replacement anyway, its easy to fit one on a 1.1. Next time dont take your car to idiots though dude, that guy sounds like the biggest idiot - throwing away parts from your car?!

    i think he may of thrown it away or put it inside the car cant check because hes got my car keys at his garage and the actual arb bar wasnt bent it was the clamp that holds it down.
