Important! : More Leaking :(

    Last week i took the headlining off because of water leaking into the drivers footwell and turned out to be a rusted through rain gutter from the sunroof, i fiberglassed the whole thing and is 100% waterproof now, and i took the aerial off and put silicone under it as recommended, but now the water is coming in through driver and passenger footwell...not as much though. could it be the windscreen? what else could it be? would like to get some idea's before removing the windscreen...thanks

    Can you see any evidence of where the leak is coming from?, could be something completely unrelated

    could be the windscreen seal too. Remove the plastic cover on the bottom of it and tape over the seal, see what happens. If you don't get any more leaks then you know what the problem is. My brother had this problem, all I had to do was to apply some silicone over the seal and it got sorted.

    gonna try that, thanks manu probably had this problem from the start but didnt notice because of the volume of water from the roof.

    it's fairly common mate, very easy to fix anyway. The only people not having that problem is because they had their windscreen changed. Seals tend to age and to get porous so not a surprise on 10+ year old cars.
