Air Bag warning light flashing

  1. #1
    Hi All,

I am new to both owning a Citroen, and to this forum. I have a w reg 1.1 saxo forte which I was giving a jet wash on Sunday.
I thought that while I was at it, I would give the engine bay a quick blast to get rid of some of the grime on the paintwork. I was very careful not to wash the engine itself, but I might have blasted the wrong thing.
Since then, the Airbag warning light has been flashing.
Could it be from the jet wash or is this a red herring?
    What can I check?

    Thanks in advance

It's unlikely to be from jetwashing the engine bay. I would suggest to get it plugged in and the Airbag fault codes read. You dont wanna go faffinf with the airbags as they can be dangerous!

could be the orange wire under the drivers seat. had the same problem, fiddled with the wire and now its fine. U can unpug it and plug it to cancel the signal
