Important! : removing tailgate actuator problem

   I've looked in the haynes book , i've tried tilting it forward to remove it from the bracket via it's lugs ! but i am not able to tilt it far enough to release it , if i push it any further i think i may break the bracket ! any ideas ? cheers

   just removed mine literally like 10 mins ago.
   
   got a pry bar to bend the plastic braket far enough to get the actuator out didn't snapp or anything. just pulled it down so i could get a pry bar between the boot and the top of the bracket and out it came.

   Long nose pliers works as well,that`s what I used.

   gonna give that a go too ! failing that looks like i'll have to remove the wiper motor etc so i can get it all out .
