Important! : 16v Flywheel cover?

    Edited.

I was just wondering, as I'm not clued up on this at all..
I'm in the process of putting a VTS engine together, coupled with a 1.1 box..
As far as I'm aware, the engine didn't come with the 'Flywheel cover'
I'm guessing its necessary, otherwise it wouldn't be there
I haven't really looked around the engine that much to notice where it goes and what it does, Can anyone tell me if its needed, as I'd like to get the engine in my car and check if its running tomorrow? I'm going to get one, but It wont arrive until the end of the week no doubt. I won't be driving it until the end of the week, but as i said.. I'd like to get the engine up and running asap.

Its not essential, plenty of people run without it. Its only an inspection cover, it bolts to the box but mine was a bit of a bastard to get on with my manifold being different. I take it you mean this one? (Fifth pic down) http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...139391&page=71 You can get one from citroen or the scrappy if you're bothered, wont cost much, tbh i only fitted mine back on as i obviously had it there at the time.
