Engine not running right.

When driving it sounds like a muscle car or something lol and if i put it in a high gear the juddering becomes unreal. Also a loss of power, Im guessing the engine is not firing up properly so my first guess is the coilpack or sparkplugs? Not sure what step to take to find the problem so any help would be appreciated . Thanks in advance.

say if your coilpack, spark plugs are recently newish (1/4k) and you still get miss firing on the odd cold morning start-ups, what would you suggest it was?

sorry for the hi-jack, well sort of.

I would be looking at coolant temp sensor or lambda sensor

It could be a loose plug if your missfireing?

If new they might not have been put in tight enough and rattled lose under pressure, you would also hear a deep throttle reponsive blow from under the bonnet as the pressure forced its way through the plug port.
