Dash lights

    Hi guys I'm looking to change my dash lights as there abit dull etc, car is saxo westcoast mk1 99 plate. I'm wondering whether I can do this as iv heard the dials have a filter that would need changin aswell just the bulbs. Could I just replace the bulbs with new different coloured LEDs would this work?

    mk1 have bulbs
    mk2 have led's

    So cant these be replaced with LEDs?

    look on ebay, somebody is bound to sell coloured bulbs on there

    Do you have a digital mileage readout(mk2 led dash)or the old syle dash (non digital)?If it`s the digital readout you can change the leds,if it`s the mk1 dash then no you can`t, bar renewing the bulbs themselves.As said mk1`s have a green filter on the cluster.

    What bulbs fit the mk1? Surely they can be replaced for something brighter. ?
