Hi people... again, sings of something failing what can it be? Starts and idleing on the button and perfect BUT when you drive it It runs stupidly rich and pops and bangs real load then if you dip the clucth to idle it dies, it not drinking much petrol but it stinks of it when it dies so what can cause it to overfuel so much it cuts out? Cheers

Try running it with the lambda disconnected.

Could be a break in an engine management wire, this can cause it to over fuel and occasionaly flood itself.

Might even be worth disconecting the battery for 15 mins try and let the ecu reset?

    Try another lambda sensor.

car should run without a lambda, albeit not at best.

If its load related, Id say its either your throttle pot or map sensor, but its hard to be sure. See if you can borrow a throttle body off someone else and try that on it.
