Have you tried just re-wiring it all mate, doesn't take long to just re-install it all.
Also check the earth points, make sure its touchjing metal perfectly.

This! A lot of people have been having this problem. Make sure you clean the contacts between the wire and the metal that you're earthing to, and make sure all of your wires are secure.

or think how much of a tit you look with incorrectly fitted HIDS...so just remove them.

HIDs are a MOT fail, I'm left wondering what it should be for badly fitted HIDs. Do you blind other roads users with these?

at current they are not mot failure, if they are not alligned correctly they will fail like any headlight but next year they will be made illegal unless they are OEM or fitted correctly with auto adjuster, projector headlights and washers. but i think poorly alligned headlights shoult be point worthy as they are dangerous! toyourslf and all other road users!

My thoughts exactly. I've got a big liking for HID's and have them in mind, but had to spend forever aligning them and making sure the cut off was good. If they were blinding others I'd rather take them out than be dangerous :/
