VTS runs rich

    I have got a mk1 vts, has done 121k (not sure if that makes a difference)

    It has a saxsport exhaust (straight through) and an induction

    At the moment it runs really rich, stinks of petrol when it is running, if i reverse into a space and have the door open a bit to see the curb all i can smell is rich petrol fumes.

    It is good on fuel, can get 46mpg on a run! If i take it near the redline and change gear is bangs and if i rev it up it bangs and flames sometimes

    Anyone know what this could be?

    De-cat i take it? They do smell fairly strongly when they're de-catted. And tend to pop and bang a fair bit so that seems to fit, have a look at your plugs?

    i think de-cat the problem too
