Important! : Saxo K&N Air filter (Need help please)

    Hi guys. As I am new to this forum and the car world, I am rather a donut.

    Last night, with the help of a torch, i fitted a K&N open airfilter. I beleive i have fitted it correctly, but i was just wondering what to do with the rubber 'breather' pipe coming from the top of the engine?

    And shall I extend the existing cold air feed to the K&N, and if so, what with?

    P.S. I will be creating a progress thread soon, so if neccessary I can take a picture of what pipes etc I am talking about.

    Btw fyi my saxo is a V reg 1.0L. Yes a 1.0L.....

    Get an oil breather filter for that breather and put it staright on top of the rocker cover. Or if you have the option plug it into the induction pipe after the filter.

    You could route the air feed to you k&n or make a better one.
