Radiator bleed nipple hose?

  1. #1
Just about finished my 1.1 to 16v engine conversion, Come across a problem from what I can see. I don't have a picture unfortunately
Regarding one of the rear radiator/matrix hoses.
The hose piece that has the tyre valve type bleed screw on, has 2 outlets from what I can understand, but I can only see one place for the an outlet to go, which is into the bulkhead to the matrix.

The hose is from my old 1.1 engine, and the 2nd (thinner diameter) outlet used to go into the inlet I believe.
Is this the same for the VTS engine, I can't see anywhere for it to go, apart from possibly a flexi hose thats dangling down from inbetween the inlet manifold?

nah you dont. Cut the pipe - leaving a bit of hose - and find a bolt thats a snug fit into it. Put the bolt in, and jubilee clip it tight as fuck.

If you think its a bodge like that, my AX has been that way for 10years and hasnt once been an issue.
