spraying exhaust manifold cover?

    would it need sanding down or anything when using this stuff..

    I'd sand it down as much as possible tbh.

    You will need high temp paint for a manifold cover, not that stuff.

    but doesn't need primer or undercoat definitely?

    i was thinking to sand it down as much as possible, spray it, sand it down with light sand paper, then keep adding coats, that way wouldnt corrode would it?

    cheers mate, does this apply to the rocker and anything else in the engine bay i decide to spray?

    Rocker cover you can get away with normal paint, block/head - probably best to have high temp paint. Anything else exhaust related will also need high temp paint. Gearbox can be painted with normal paint as well.
