   As far as I know it is,ive even seen a number plate on the bonnet of a car too.

   im pretty sure they are meant to be on the bumper. infact they are. yes some are stickered on bonnets.

    If you've just modded your car and put it wedged it in the dash then you'll get pulled and be asked to put it on the front. If you've just had a bump or something though you'd get let off. I believe it has to be somewhere on the front bumper or stickerd on the front of the bonnet

    numberplates have to be displayed on the FRONT of the vehicle...from the A pilar onwards.
