2 things!

   the first is a yes or no, should i get pressed plates or is it a waste of money?
   the second is, my mate tried changin my cigarette lighter and then decided he couldnt. now i have no cigarette lighter and the original wiring component is cut down so theres barely any wire to reconnect them. i have a new lighter but NO idea how to fit it. could you help please as it blew my fuse and my horn doesnt work :[ hello MOT fail!

   dubmeister do full uk legal pressed plates, they are a show off thing but do look good.
   
   tape up the wires (seperate them) with insulating tape to stop them earthing out and blowing the fuse as the cigar lighter is not part of the mot...
   
   then after that you either need to use butt connections and more wire so you extend the wiring to fit the new adapter or trace the wire back more and if neccessary unwrap the tape to get that bit extra... you only need about 2cm showing to be able to use a set of wirestrippers / sidecutters to then put a crimp on.
